Uniform Policy
Official School uniforms must be worn every day. Students arrive to school without proper uniform may be referred to the administration and may not return to class until in proper uniform. Students with repeated violations of this policy will be referred to the administration/Discipline Review Committee.
The school uniform will be the following: Kindergarten — 5th Grade: Style 390 culottes in green plaid OXFORD or polo short sleeve shirts in white with emblem.
Kindergarten — 5th Grade: Pants in Hunter Green and Hunter Green Canvas Belt (sold at Ibiley) OXFORD or polo short sleeve shirts in white with emblem.
Kindergarten — 5th Grade: Shoes: solid white, solid black sneakers, or white with black (no other colors will be accepted)
Cold Weather: Hunter green pants or hunter green sweat pants. Students may not stockings or tights. Long sleeve polo or OXFORD in white. Hunter green jacket, cardigan or hooded sweater.
ID/Lanyard: All students on school grounds are required to wear their ID/Ianyard at all times.
Face Mask Policy: Mater Academy East WiII abide by the latest Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and recommendations including but not limited to mask wear on school grounds.

STUDENTS MUST WEAR THEIR UNIFORMS ON THE DAY OF SCHOOL! Students are not to wear long or hoop earrings and jewelry should be limited. Mater Academy faculty and staff are not responsible for any jewelry students may wear during school hours. Any student who has spiked hair longer than an inch will be asked to go to the bathroom and wash it off. Students are not allowed to dye or have extravagant hairdos. All uniform shirts are to be tucked in at all times. Culottes are to reach the knee or be just one inch above the knee.
STUDENTS MUST ABIDE BY THESE UNIFORM SPECIFICATIONS EVERY DAY! UNIFORMS ARE MANDATORY! NO EXCEPTIONS!
After 3 written warnings in reference to uniform, students will be issued a referral violating the uniform contract. A Riversharks t-shirt and shorts will be required for all students participating in Physical Education; non-compliance will result in an "F" for the day. These t-shirts wiII also be worn on field trips and can be worn on casual Friday. T-shirts and shorts can be purchased at Ibiley as well.
